Why my android is slow?

The only real threat to your phone's performance is age, with frequent, long-term software updates and contemporary midrange handsets having enough power to run most applications and games. Even low-cost smartphones are capable these days. You install applications and games and store a slew of garbage files from the time you unbox your bright new smartphone. You'll deplete and replenish the battery and put the phone through its paces with demanding applications. It's a never-ending circle.

How to speed up my android?

1. Free up storage space

1.       Open the Settings app.

Go to Storage settings or search for "storage" in the Settings search bar. You'll find it under Battery and  device care on a Samsung phone.

2. Uninstall unused apps

Open Settings on your device.

Tap on Apps.

Find the app you want to remove and select it.

Tap Uninstall.

Hit OK.

3. Change system animation speed

Go to the Settings.

Scroll down and select System.

You should now find Developer options near the bottom of the list.

Scroll down until you reach the Drawing section.

Here you'll find three different Animation scale settings, which will all be set to 1x by default:

Window animation scale

Transition animation scale

Animator duration scale

Change each one to.5x to increase the animation speed. (Smaller numerals move quicker, whereas larger numbers move slowly.) You may also disable animations entirely, however this is not recommended because things seem odd without them.)

4. Update to the latest software

Make sure your device is connected to Wi-Fi.

Open Settings.

Select About Phone.

Tap Check for Updates. If an update is available, an Update button will appear. Tap it.

Install. Depending on the OS, you'll see Install Now, Reboot and install, or Install System Software. Tap it.
